It's always slow this time of year, no matter how manner members are active. We will pick back up in a week or so for sure. And I'm still recruiting folks where I can.

Happy Belated Christmas folks!

Sorry, this is the busiest time of year for me as far as playing.

Played so much between Advent, Christmas Eve, Day, the following Sunday...not to mention crazy rehearsals working up to it all.

Over 75 songs in all, many 10 pages or more long PLUS all the Traditional Carols.... I'm toasted! LOL

My T40 fretless & the USA Millennium got the lion's share of play time.

THANKFULLY, a nice QUIET New Years Eve is planned! Smile Smile Smile

It's probably going to be a very quiet New Year's Eve around Castle Frankenpeavey. Today is my last day of work for the the year and I'm coming down with a cold. I'm guessing I'll be over the cold in time to return to work on Monday, but those guitar projects I had planned to play with over the four day weekend probably won't get done until I feel better. Sad

Tony,

Sorry to hear about that. I've had a cold too and haven't had much time to play my Hofner. On Christmas Eve, my wife strained a ligament in her back. She's bed-ridden. Sucks to get old! Hope you have a good break to get healthy!

Thanks Scott. Mojo headed your wife's way too.

Another friend of mine was blaming everyone getting sick on Facebook. I guess we all got sick through our friend lists. A true computer virus. Shocked

Add me to the list of procrastinators. Hope everyone has a healthy and prosperous new year. I'm supposed to start bass lessons sometime next year, so maybe I can make the transition from collector to musician.

Good luck with that. I decided long ago that I was a much better collector than player. affraid

I am not holding my breath. I realize that at my age any talent I have has probably already been realized. I am not disappointed, I have learned to appreciate what God has given me and don't dwell on what He hasn't. I do appreciate nice woodwork, and guitars and basses are some of my favorites. I have a beautiful recurve bow that is laminated mahogany, hanging on a wall in my living room. Someone stood it in a corner for long enough to warp one of the limbs. It can't be strung without breaking, so it is now my art piece. I try to rotate my guitars to stands just to appreciate their beauty, and the miniatures have their place on the mantel.
